I've decided to go with i7-4765T (quad-core, 35W) CPU for my TVS-671-PT-4G, got it from ebay for $250.

Got 16GB memory as well: G.SKILL Ripjaws 2x8G DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) F3-1600C9D-16GRSL

Upgrade was easy, even since this is first QNAP unit I open (I have multiple Synology boxes but recently switched to QNAP, got TS-870 Pro filled with 500GB 840 Pro SSDs and 10GB Ethernet), took about 30 minutes with no rush. After upgrade powered on the unit, it started, then rebooted itself and then booted just fine, CPU and 16GB memory recognized, no worries.

Happy with power consumption, new CPU is more powerful than Pentium but consumes less power:

以目前 open source 的兩個專案，MySQL 與 PostgreSQL 來看，裡面提到的 lock 應該都不是問題...

首先是 MySQL 的部份，真的量大的網站都應該是往 InnoDB 投靠，而 pt-online-schema-change 在這個領域則是處理的很好。

Facebook 的 Mark Callaghan 曾經在 2010 年寫過一篇關於 InnoDB 的 online schema change 的原理：「Online Schema Change for MySQL」，主要是利用 Trigger 的機制，用七個步驟架構出沒有 downtime 的 online schame change。

就算不考慮 pt-online-schema-change 這種工具，在 MySQL 5.6 開始，就有愈來愈多 ALTER TABLE 的行為是不會影響到 read/write 了：「Avoiding MySQL ALTER table downtime」。

而 PostgreSQL 的情況也差不多，常見的 ALTER TABLE (新增與刪除 column 與 index) 也都不會影響 read/write。

這些在 Stack Overflow 上有不少討論：「ALTER TABLE without locking the table?」。

MySQL 在 RDBMS 領域裡比起來的確是不怎樣，不過沒有這麼糟糕啊...

　　如果把12306外包给IBM或者阿里巴巴来做，能否比现在做得好?

　　如果是以前，我肯定会回答：是。因为我们始终认为，一个年投入超3亿元的卖火车票网站，没有什么理由做不好吧?其实不光是小编这样认为，包括众多媒体，甚至专业人士都曾喷过12306，但近日一名前淘宝工程师通过科普的方式给了我们一记响亮的耳光：做12306网站难度远高于淘宝。

　　我曾在淘宝写过一段时间代码，2012年在一家百强民企做电商副总，当时在极为艰苦的条件下带队开发了一个B2C网站，走支付宝和银联支付通道，年营业额千万级。

　　在平时，12306也就是个正常的电商网站。但一到黄金周，12306就是一个全站所有商品都秒杀，所有SKU(库存量单位，物流管理术语，编者注)都是动态库存的变态。

　　媒体人喷12306，是他们不懂技术，没有能力和耐心来分析背后的难度。技术人员喷，则是因为大部分的技术人员在短时间思考时，容易陷入过于乐观的误区。

　　至于12306一期工程3个亿(含硬件)贵不贵我不评价，我只提供一个数字供参考，百度一年的研发费用(不含硬件)是10亿，这个数字来自百度财报。网上能查到。3亿看起来好大一个数字，真用到超大型的电商系统、搜索引擎系统里面，其实也不算什么天文数字了。

　　再解释一下，为什么秒杀压力大，以及为什么12306的动态库存很复杂。

　　先说秒杀:

　　2013年12月25日前后，天猫搞了一个圣诞季积分兑换活动，持续几天。25号上午10点12分，放出了15000个天猫魔盒，从成交记录上看，是19秒内全部抢完。

　　实际上，我也参加秒杀了，我应该是5秒内答题完成并提交订单，结果告诉我排队的人太多，14秒以后重试。

　　我想，14秒以后哪还有我的事情呀，于是重新答题秒杀，结果出现了服务器错误的页面。反复刷新几次，就告诉秒杀结束了。

　　淘宝是什么技术水平呢，淘宝有至少4000技术人员，至少4万台服务器。以淘宝这样的技术水平，也不能做到秒杀时让每个用户都没有拥挤感，为什么呢?

　　一是要尊重物理原理。一台服务器一秒钟能承受的计算量是有极限的，任你怎么优化，采用多高效的算法和编程语言，都突破不了某个极限。

　　二是要考虑经济效益。十一黄金周的时候，北京主城区到八达岭长城的路堵得严严实实，但不能因为黄金周的高峰，就把这段路修成长安街那样10车道的高速公路。

　　再说动态库存:

　　淘宝秒杀天猫魔盒的时候，只有一个商品(行话叫做SKU)，它的库存是15000个。有一个人秒杀到了，库存就减1，19秒卖完的，一秒要成功产生789个订单。想象一下，你在广场上卖火车票，一秒钟有8万人举着钱对你喊：卖给我!

　　好了，讲了这半天淘宝，可以说12306了吧?

　　我以北京西到深圳北的G71次高铁为例，它有17个站，3种座位。表面看起来，这不就是3个商品吗?G71商务座、G71一等座、G71二等座。大部分轻易喷12306的技术人员就是在这里栽第一个跟头的。

　　实际上，G71有136*3 =408种商品(408个SKU)，怎么算来的?请看：

　　如果卖北京西始发的，有16种卖法(因为后面有16个站)，北京西到：保定、石家庄、郑州、武汉、长沙、广州、虎门、深圳……都是一个个独立的商品，

　　同理，石家庄上车的，有15种下车的可能，以此类推，单以上下车的站来计算，有136种票：16+15+14…+2+1=136。每种票都有3种座位，一共是408个商品。

　　旅客A买了一张北京西(01号站)到保定东(02号站)的，那【北京西到保定东】这个商品的库存就要减一，同时，北京西到石家庄、郑州、武汉、长沙、广州、虎门、深圳等15个站台的商品库存也要减一，也就是说，出一张北京到保定东的票，实际上要减16个商品的库存!

　　这还不是最复杂的，如果旅客B买了一张北京西(01号站)到深圳北(17号站)的票，除了【北京西到深圳北】这个商品的库存要减一，北京西到保定东、石家庄、郑州、武汉、长沙、广州、虎门等15个站台的商品库存也要减1，保定东到石家庄、郑州、武汉、长沙、广州、虎门、深圳北等15个站台的商品库存要减1……总计要减库存的商品数是16+15+14+…+1=120个。

　　想象一下，8万人举着钱对你高喊：卖给我。你好不容易在钱堆里找到一只手，拿了他的钱，转身找120个同事，告诉他们减库存，而这120个同事也和你一样被8万人围着;也和你一样，每卖出一个商品要找几十个人减库存……这就是12306动态库存的变态之处。比你平时买东西的任何网站的库存机制都复杂几十上百倍。

　　再说一下抢票插件，防机器人抢票，也不是加个图片验证码那么简单。验证码设置得复杂一点吧，人们要喷：这只是便宜大学生和办公室白领，农民工连26个字母都认不齐，怎么搞?搞动画验证码吧，也有人喷：视力不好的人怎么办?最后验证码搞得太简单了，皆大欢喜了，其实最高兴的是开发抢票插件的公司。

　　以上讨论只是把12306当成和淘宝一样没有历史包袱从零起步的交易系统，实际上，它不是，它后面的票池，还有电话售票、火车站售票、代售点售票等多个传统渠道要服务。除了客运服务，12306还有全国最大(很可能也是全球最大)的大宗物资货运系统。

　　架空政策(包括定价政策、警方打击黄牛政策、身份验证政策)谈技术，是不可能解决春运抢票困局的，要想让春运的时候每个人在12306抢票都毫无拥挤感(但不一定能抢到票，铁路运力摆在那)，那就是逼着12306买一大堆服务器对付春运，春运过去后，成为跟amazon一样牛逼的云计算服务商。和逼北京修一条10车道的高速公路去八达岭长城一个道理。

　　目前的12306技术上是还有问题，比如，抢票高峰，输入个身份证号和图片验证码都卡得要死(本人亲测)，服务器端繁忙，你浏览器端卡什么呀?

　　但人家在进步。相信2015年春运的时候，技术已经不再是一票难求的主要问题。在铁路运力不可能神速增加的情况下，要做到春运更公平地买票，需要靠政策调整。

吃到飽　從不是我的選擇


天氣冷的時候，孩子有時會想吃火鍋，我們偶爾也會去解解饞，但從不光顧吃到飽的火鍋店，因為這和我的飲食原則有許多地方相違背。火鍋店會附贈飲料、冰淇淋或甜點，這些東西我們幾乎不吃外面的。例如飲料，絕大多數是用果汁粉、紅茶粉泡的，至於冰淇淋有乳化劑、香料和色素，孩子也知道不該吃。


至於可無限取用的火鍋料，儘管冰櫃裡琳瑯滿目，我卻無從下手，找不出新鮮安心的食材，那些丸子、魚餃、熱狗，姑且不論原料的好壞，光是製作過程就摻入很多食品添加物。相比之下，我寧可帶孩子去單點的火鍋店，想吃什麼、想吃多少自己點。


湯底　我習慣這樣子點


火鍋店的花樣越來越多，尤其是涮涮鍋，番茄、香茅、咖哩、起士、甘蔗、昆布、麻辣……多不勝數，光看完就要不少時間。我尊重孩子的口味，但教他們如何吃得健康一點，所以我們會各自選擇喜歡的湯底，請服務人員上鍋時將湯底減半，另外給我們一壺白水，自己加水稀釋。


肉類　我會做這些觀察


因為我不吃餃類和丸子，吃火鍋時一定會吃肉片。服務人員上菜時，我會立刻檢查肉片是否冷凍著，如果已是半退冰狀態，我會要求更換。此外，肉的顏色太紅或太白，我就不吃了。我還會觀察肉的紋理走向，如果很奇怪，就會放一片進鍋子涮涮看，若一涮就分解，那就是組合肉。


這些東西　我絕對不吃


吃火鍋很容易吃入太多調味料，所以基本上我和家人都不沾沙茶醬，只沾少量的和風醬，吃得清爽些。考量到雞蛋的問題很多，我幾乎不在外頭吃，更遑論雞蛋很容易受沙門氏桿菌污染，絕不會拿生蛋黃沾肉吃。


煮鍋　我按照這個順序


就像在家烹調一樣，燙過蔬菜的水不宜拿來喝，而且我習慣先吃肉再吃菜，最後吃飯，在外吃火鍋時，同樣遵循這些原則，衍生出一套煮鍋的順序──先煮白色青菜→加入可久煮的玉米、番茄、豆腐→喝湯，撈出豆腐吃→涮肉吃，再吃鍋裡的青菜，並喝湯→煮綠色青菜吃，吃點白飯。在綠色青菜下鍋之後，我就絕不喝湯。


火鍋久煮　不營養也不科學


我知道很多朋友嫌煮鍋麻煩，就用大鍋煮的方式，一口氣把菜盤全倒入火鍋，把火開至最大，久煮、慢吃。我覺得這並不理想，所有的食物混在一起，很難吃出原味，而不斷煮沸也將營養素破壞；更何況像酸菜白肉鍋、泡菜鍋、海鮮鍋再久煮之後，亞硝酸鹽會大量增加，建議不要這麼做。

基本上使用下列的model就夠了，之後抓一個版型來用。

1、有個問題在版型上，有的版型會用自做的Main Menu，所以這點要注意，最好是版面有留Main Menu的區塊，這樣就可以放上superfish for Main Menu，但用這個又有一個問題，是css套上去的顏色不太合的情況，所以要先試這塊，先看合不合。

2、之後才進行多語言的測試，基本上，多語言切換完全沒有問題，有介面沒翻譯到的，也可以自行翻譯。

3、另外建議把 使用者登入區塊 關了，因為好看多了，那怎麼登入，直接在根路徑打/user就可以登入。

4、版型後面有版權宣告，記得去template.php改一下。

5、footer區塊，建議自己建一個新的區塊，連接到一個page，這樣就行放很多資訊，不要用原本的footer區塊。

=======設定==========
對應模組功能要打開，記得
架構-內容類型-裡面要多語的類型，在“發佈選項“，要選“已啟用翻譯功能“。

架構-選單-編輯選單 要選 Translate and Localize. Menu items with language will allow translations. Menu items without language will be localized.


====備份/還原========  不要用那個什麼備份軟體....太浪費時間了！
備份：
1、請直接進phpmyadmin，選 資料庫->匯出->自訂->輸出zip，然後注意一下，blob要HEX輸出。
2、直接把整個drupal目錄copy下來。

還原：
1、先把整個drupal目錄還原到主機上；最後是zip上去，server上解壓最快。
2、直接進 資料庫，用phpmyadmin還 (!!sql檔太大)。

所以請記得，任何安裝後的model，不要用，請砍了，libary也是。別留一堆垃圾，另外將來後續備份，如果只變更site目錄下的檔案，就只備份site目錄。

如果有更新drupal版本，或任何版本，請直接再備份整個drupal目錄。

網路上最多的是root，砍 對應錯誤程式的資料夾....手機現在不見得會root了



所以建議，把android的同步開到最大，先同步備份一次，然後把手機還原吧！


記得一個小問題，本人碰到的，因為一開始有插sd卡，結果還原時，android把程式還原到sd卡上，所以先把sd拔了，還原完，再插sd卡.............我覺得可能是我搞錯，.....但懶得查了...反正就這樣做

android crosswalk intel XDK codova

剛用intel XDK 做crosswalk，用codova，做純網頁 app，非常慢.....慢到極點了


crosswalk是把最新的chorme的核心，包在apk中，只有4.4才是內建chorme新的核心，所以crosswalk就是把apk包了chorme，讓apk走html5架構暴快

codova太慢了，如果用android studio 做原生的webview，連網頁超快，但我現在手機，雖然是4.2，但底層已換chorme，所以我測很快，所以現在兩種情況：

一、以後走4.4後，chorme為底層broswer時，html5暴快，

二、等android studio可以包crosswalk時，就算4.x的都暴快，4.0以下不能用crosswalk，但包了crosswalk會胖20 MB


但，很妙的是，如果走codova crosswalk XDK，放到手機中，吃的記憶體不多，5x~8x MB，但會自動掛掉 .......

ruby on sinatra 正式開發上線 發現問題

基本上，很多人用 rank db:migrate, 看日本的範例是直接開mysql資料庫，那時候不懂，他的做法出乎意外，因為大部份的範例不是這樣，現在才知道為什麼。

rank db:create_migration NAME=xxx   建立後，再改xxx.rb檔，設完後，rank db:migrate就產生大問題了！

在開發環境，用sqlite3, 是的，可以用，但到正式mysql資料庫，能用，但編碼是litaxxxx ....不是UTF8；那在xxx.rb 文件內強制設定option

create_table :tops, options: 'DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8'

當然就不發生錯誤，但回到sqllite3就錯了！因為sqlite3沒支援這語法......那這樣怎麼處理？  寫程式，因為xxx.rb，是ruby語法。

但這樣有比較快嗎？

還是直接把 cretae table schema和insert sql直接另外做文件，進mysql和sqlite3執行sql比較快....

mysql 當然更快是直接把table名稱改掉，新增 新的table；
sqlite3 直接copy一個新的sqlite3，進去刪掉table更快...

也許是我不了解rank db，但目前的了解就是這樣子....

另外有試著把mysql的db，需設成utf8，但租的主機有時候是不能亂改的.....哈，無解
